First of all, I wanted to thank you guys for all the nice comments you’ve left in the past few weeks. I haven’t replied to many of them, but I really appreciate it. Especially the comments on my last post were really nice and helpful. Thank you!
I’ve added these photos of the Niagara Falls in Goldstream Provincial Park, because I know y’all like your eye candy. They were taken on Sunday, which was also a nice day, but not the good day the post title refers to. That day was yesterday, and it included a three hour Skype call to my friend Evelien and drinks in downtown Victoria with a friend who took us to some spots we’d never been before.
It was good to talk with a friend like we would’ve back home and it was also very good to explore the city again. Being nature-lovers, Joop and I have explored our fair share of nature, but Victoria is an extremely nice city deserving of some more exploration too. More than that, it is energizing in a different way and made me feel like a tourist again (which is a good thing in this instance), full of wonder.

Ginormous photo of the waterfall taken by Joop.
